To create a high-ranking, firm-wide website clearly promoting a number of legal services and a further SEO and user-friendly sub-site focused on conveyancing services.
As the current website was very outdated, underperforming and not mobile-friendly, we decided to develop a new custom website using Drupal.
By choosing to do this, we made sure their new website was user-friendly, search engine optimised and providing an all-round better user experience. We introduced clear call-to-actions, integrated an easy to use enquiry form and built a secondary website for client to obtain conveyancing quotes.
To ensure our client was easily found in search engines, we created an in-depth SEO strategy that focused on securing high rankings for relevant search terms. To do this we created new landing pages, increase the blog performance and created optimised content.
The new firm-wide site achieved a 60.13% year-on-year rise in sessions against the previous site and a 57.89% user increase in its first month. Importantly, our work developing the personalities of the firm’s lawyers resulted in impressive engagement figures, with an average session time of 8.01 minutes. Given the conveyancing site appealed to a niche market and that traffic surges are rare in the months after the launch of a site, Smith Partnership was delighted sessions increased 27.81% in the site’s second month and that users were up by 42.73%.
