To develop a new eCommerce website that is scalable and provides the functionality to promote products and drive more sales. To simultaneously drive more traffic to the website and increase online sales through paid marketing.
Starting with the website, we decided to build a new model using Magento. In doing this, we provide Gentle Grip with a fully responsive and scalable platform that was both SEO and user-friendly.
We were able to integrate a secure payment system and safely migrate all of the product and members information from the old website to the new. By building a custom platform, we also provided Gentle Grip with the ability to send discount newsletters, promotional and abandoned cart reminders directly to customers.
We also launched a large-scale PPC campaign that focused on both branded and non-branded search terms. We created a series of adgroups that targeted different audiences and chose a respectable monthly budget.
In the first month after launch, we immediately noticed huge improvements across the board. Pageviews increased 127.73%, while users were up 41.99%. Pages per session were up 76.27% and bounce rate was reduced by 87.49%.
We also had great results with the PPC campaign. Besides increasing the conversion rate by 13.2%, we reduced the total spend by 14%, whilst increasing the total conversion value by 9%.
